INT ROB FIELDS' OFFICE (DAY)
Marcy Sternfeld is sitting in Rob's office alone. She is still upset at what had happened on the set earlier. Hunter Fallow and Courtney Scott enter.
HUNTER FALLOW
Marcy. Hey, Marcy! Wake up! Where's Rob?
MARCY STERNFELD
I don't know. I thought he might be here.
HUNTER
Well, cheer up! I've got good news.
COURTNEY SCOTT
Wait. Can I tell her?
Hunter shrugs.
COURTNEY
Joshua Jackson, your favorite star--
HUNTER
Besides Johnny, of course...
COURTNEY
--is going to be here on the set today! Isn't that great?
MARCY
(no reaction)
Yeah. Great.
HUNTER
Come on, Marce. Even if you don't have a snowball's chance in Hell with him, I'm sure he'll talk to you--eventually!
COURTNEY
Don't say that, Hunter. Why wouldn't he talk to her? I hear that Josh is a great guy.
HUNTER
(replies with sarcasm)
Whatever! Well, I'm going to get an early lunch so I can be here when Pacey gets here.
Hunter turns and leaves.
COURTNEY
Don't take it like that, Marcy. I'm sure Joshua Jackson will like you. Why wouldn't he?
MARCY
(still no reaction)
Thanks, Courtney. I need to talk to Rob alone, please. I'll see you on the set, okay?
COURTNEY
Sure. Bye.
Courtney leaves. Marcy stands up and stares at the pictures on the wall for a moment. She is considering going home for the day if Rob lets her. Suddenly, there is a knock at the doorway...
JOSHUA JACKSON
Excuse me, is this Rob's office?
Marcy turns and is pleasantly surprised to be face-to-face with her favorite "Dawson's Creek" star.

HUNTER FALLOW
Marcy. Hey, Marcy! Wake up! Where's Rob?
MARCY STERNFELD
I don't know. I thought he might be here.
HUNTER

COURTNEY SCOTT
Wait. Can I tell her?
Hunter shrugs.
COURTNEY

HUNTER

COURTNEY

HUNTER

JOSHUA JACKSON

Marcy turns and is pleasantly surprised to be face-to-face with her favorite "Dawson's Creek" star.
There is a moment in everyone's life that can only be described as -- MAGICAL! That moment was there for Marcy as she looked into Joshua's eyes. Suddenly, she no longer felt down and depressed. She completely forgot about her obsession with Johnny and her growing feelings for Dave. What stood before her was an angel sent from Heaven above. Time moved in slow motion, and the sound of violins filled the air. She did not realize that Rob Fields, the executive producer, had entered. She also did not realize how long this magical moment had lasted.
ROB FIELDS
There you are, Mr. Jackson. Your publicist said you'd be here a bit earlier than scheduled.
Josh is still locked in the moment with Marcy. The MOMENT had the same effect on Josh.
JOSH
Huh? Oh...oh, yeah. Sorry. Where was I?
ROB
I was going to take you to lunch so we could dicuss your guest shot on my show. You know, Dawson's Creek is one of my favorite shows.
JOSH
(Snapping back to reality.)
I'm glad to hear it, and by the way, they're changing the name to Pacey's Pond.
ROB
Oh, really?
JOSH
Just kidding! I only WISH they were!
Rob just nods and smiles. It is obvious that he has never seen even ONE episode of Dawson's Creek.
JOSH
(Turning back to Marcy.)
I'll talk to you later, all right?
Marcy's only reply is two raised eyebrows and a quick nod of her head.
JOSH
Okay, then. Bye!
Marcy replies with the same head nod as before.
