EXT SOUNDSTAGE, NEAR THE CAST'S TRAILERS (DAY)
Josh and Marcy exit the soundstage together and begin walking toward Marcy's trailer. They notice Hunter talking to Courtney outside Courtney's trailer. Josh puts his hand over Marcy's shoulder and they walk faster, hoping that Hunter would not notice them.
HUNTER
...and then he looked deep into my eyes and he kissed me. His hands were all over me.
COURTNEY
Wow! But I've got something to tell you about Josh, too.
HUNTER
(catching Josh and Marcy walking together, she glares hard at Marcy)
That little tramp!
MARCY
Oh, no. Josh, she's looking at me like that again.
JOSH
Huh?
MARCY
What do you say we go this way? Come on, this way is better. Definitely better.
Josh and Marcy take the long way to Marcy's trailer.
CLOSER CAMERA ANGLE ON HUNTER
Hunter reacts to this. She looks as though she is about to unleash all the demons of Hell.
HUNTER
She knows I'm going to ask Josh to the dance.
(to Courtney)
What does she think she is doing? No one comes to this set and picks Marcy over me.
COURTNEY
What about that singer from "Gifted" that spent the weekend with Marcy a while back?
HUNTER
He was only using her to get his dumb band on the show. No one picks Marcy over me. Not even Sarah Michelle Gellar.
COURTNEY
But Hunter, Sarah Michelle's a female.
HUNTER
Doesn't matter. No one comes to this set and picks Marcy over me.
COURTNEY
Good thing Sarah Michelle was never here on the set, huh? (long pause) Ah, anyways, I don't think Josh will be going to the dance with Marcy.
HUNTER
No? Why not?
Courtney looks guilty and will not look directly at Hunter as she opens her trailer door and steps inside. Courtney wants to get to safe shelter before she drops the bombshell on Hunter.
COURTNEY
Because...because I already asked, and Josh is going with me.
Courtney quickly closes and locks the door before Hunter can react. Kevin is now within earshot.
KEVIN
First team's up! Hunter, they need you on the set.
HUNTER
In a minute! (back to Courtney) You hefty bag of trash! This is far from over! Both you and Marcy are NOT gonna get away with this!
Turning toward the stage door, Hunter storms off, a volcano ready to explode!
