14 [ ====== SCENE FOURTEEN ====== ] 14
EXT CHARMED SOUNDSTAGE (NIGHT)
Josh and Courtney head for the party. Kevin exits the building they were all just in and is several yards behind Josh and Courtney. Suddenly, from around the corner of the soundstage and from behind Kevin, Hunter appears.
HUNTER
Kevin! Did you bring everything I told you to bring?
KEVIN
Yeah, Hunter. It's all right here.
Kevin reaches into his car, which was parked next to the soundstage, and pulls out a large box and tucks it under his arm.
HUNTER
That IS everything?
KEVIN
Copies, and the doll. Everything you wanted, just like you asked for.
HUNTER
(talking down to him and patting him on the head)
Good boy. Now, go play. Hunter's work has just begun.
Hunter takes the box from Kevin and quickly returns to the party. When she reaches the entrance of the soundstage, the bouncer stops her.
BOUNCER
Excuse me, miss. I'll need to inspect that before you bring it in there.
HUNTER
What? Don't you realize that I'm a star? I could have you fired on the spot.
BOUNCER
Sorry. Orders is orders. I can't let you in there with that.
Hunter reaches into her pocket and pulls out two bills. Both bills are one hundred dollar bills.
HUNTER
(sounding sweet again)
Be a good man and watch the box for me. I'll give you a hundred now, and another hundred when I come back for the box so I can bring it inside.
BOUNCER
(without hesitation)
Sure, miss. Anything you say!
The Bouncer quickly takes the money and Hunter puts the box at the feet of the Bouncer.
HUNTER
And remember--
(now with a sugar-coated threat)
If something happens to my box, then something's going to happen...to you.
She strides back into the soundstage, ready to put her plan into action.
