EXT THE STUDIO LOT NEAR THE SOUNDSTAGE ENTRANCE (DAY)
Dave and Kevin are standing outside the studio. Valentine's Day is just one day away. Dave wants to get something for Marcy for Valentine's Day and is asking Kevin for his advice.
DAVE
Dude, Valentine's Day is just one day away. What am I gonna get for Marcy to show her how I feel about her?
Kevin mumbles something.
DAVE
Huh?
KEVIN
You could write her a poem or something, I dunno.
DAVE
Isn't that sappy? I mean, she wouldn't go for that, would she?
KEVIN
I'm not sure. I'm not exactly the best person to ask. Go ask Hunter what Marcy likes. She knows her better.
DAVE
(without realizing Hunter is the LAST person he should ask)
Right, dude. Thanks!
Hunter approaches. She has a huge smile on her face.
DAVE
Hey, Hunter. What's up?
HUNTER
Oh, my God! You'll never guess who's going to be on the set today.
Dave and Kevin both look at her with blank stares.
HUNTER
Kevin, is it true? Joshua Jackson from 'Dawson's Creek' is going to be here?
Kevin looks down at the ground. This was supposed to be a secret, but Kevin does not stand up well to questioning.
KEVIN
Um, yeah. He's supposed to be here and talk with Rob after lunch.
HUNTER
YES! Finally, we'll get some REAL MEN around here!
She beams daggers with her eyes at both Dave and Kevin as she leaves, happy to know she can plot another scheme to get another guy she wants.
KEVIN
What did she mean by that?
DAVE
You know Hunter. It must be that time of month.
KEVIN
Dude, it's ALWAYS that time of month with Hunter.
DAVE
(nodding along)
Anyway, what should I get for Marcy for Valentine's Day?
KEVIN
Sorry, dude. I can't help you.
DAVE
Quentin would know. Thanks anyway, bro.
