INT SCHOOL HALLWAY
Hunter and Joshua Jackson talk while Dave and Kevin stand by and watch the scene.
HUNTER
(running on and on)
Pacey better not break up with Joey because they look sooo cute together and it's good that Dawson has Gretchen now so he'll stop putting so much pressure on Joey--
(Josh just nods in agreement)
DIRECTOR
Quiet on the set, everyone.
HUNTER
--I mean, Gretchen's really good because she's much older and experienced, unlike Joey who's probably gonna die a--
DIRECTOR
Hunter!
HUNTER
Okay, okay. I'm ready.
DIRECTOR
And...ACTION!
HUNTER
(in character, walking up to Josh)
I heard you were leaving.
JOSH
(in character)
Yeah. My parents kicked me out and put me on the next flight to Charleston, South Carolina.
HUNTER
What? Isn't that like--
JOSH
On the other side of the country, yeah.
HUNTER
Look...no matter where you go, I want you to know that I will ALWAYS love you.
Josh and Hunter look into each others eyes and share a kiss. Dave and Kevin strain their necks up to get a better view. Marcy enters and approaches Dave and Kevin. Hunter starts to get more into the kiss.
HUNTER
Mmmmmm...ohhh.
DAVE
(quietly to Kevin)
Dude, she's gonna bite his face off.
Marcy's eyes widen as she watches this. Hunter sees Marcy looking at her and goes a little further, putting her body on Josh.
DIRECTOR
(quietly to Quentin, seated next to him)
This is good...
QUENTIN
Oh, yeah.
JOSH
Ummm...mmmmm...oh boy...
(motions to the director to cut the scene)
DIRECTOR
Annnnnnd cut!
HUNTER
(still going)
Mmmmmm!
JOSH
Hunter...
(louder)
Hunter, scene's over!
HUNTER
Right...over...bye, Josh.
(big smile...walks off the set and passes by Marcy)
MARCY
I don't believe her.
DAVE
Dude...Marcy, wanna grab something to eat?
MARCY
No thanks, Dave.
Dave exits as he walks slowly backwards off the set. Kevin is busy writing stuff on his clipboard. Marcy is sad and takes a seat on the nearby chair. Moments later, Josh walks up to her.
JOSH
You all right? Looks like something's bothering you.
MARCY
Meee...? No, no...I'm fine.
(looks at the ground for a few seconds then looks back at Josh)
Hi, Josh.
JOSH
Come on. Let's get you outta here.
(offers her a hand up)
Marcy smiles as Josh walks her off the set and into the lot. Josh has his hand over Marcy's shoulder.
HUNTER
THEN he kissed me!!
COURTNEY
(gets excited for her)
Oh, my God!
HUNTER
(on seeing Josh and marcy, loses her smile)
That little tramp.
MARCY
Oh, no, Josh. She's looking at me like that again.
JOSH
Huh?
MARCY
What do you say we go this way?
(pointing in a totally different direction)
Come on, Josh. This way is good.
As Josh and Marcy hurry to leave, the camera cuts to a closer angle on Hunter as she shakes her head no.
